Father Figure novel cover walk-through as screen-cap’ed by Jo.  This cover took a day (13 hours to be precise) from thumbnail to completion.  Originally, there weren’t a cover planned for the novel due to the deadline that had already passed by days.  A simple cover with text of the title.  However, Jo wouldn’t have none of that! Even at the risk of having the novel come in after Yaoi-Con.  Luckily - the books came in to the Convention hotel the Friday morning of the show.

4. Clean penciling from the finished sketch.

5-7. Image scanned and colored.

8. Final.  Title and cover text will be on a different layer.
